Please, no dueling. Step away from the pistols.

Dual booting is exactly what Boot Camp provides. VMWare does not. The confusion comes with the dual thing. A dual boot is actually two independent boots, not any type of simultaneous use of the two systems. A VM (virtual machine) is an emulation that allows use of two systems at once. That makes a VM a "single boot, two systems". A lot like Taiwan.

Unfortunately, you will need drivers for Windows 7 and they haven't been released by Apple. The XP drivers came on the Leopard DVD, so you would just put that in when you were booted to XP and it asked for any driver disc. You can't get drivers from the Snow Leopard disc since it was released before Windows 7 drivers were completed by Apple. Drivers will have to be bundled with a boot Camp update. Keep watching the news and the Apple site, because they expect it by "the end of the year" and Apple is quite good at these types of predictions. See the link below.

It has been the practice of both Microsoft and Apple to share info related to driver development so there would be no long delay in getting drivers for a new version of the OS. This time things didn't go according to history. No idea why.

i'm 26 now. I remember being in the 9th grade and just feeling so privileged that my art class had 10 of these. Thumbs up if you thought this thing was fucking tits the first time you saw it in person! Kudos Steve Jobs. You're a douche, but girls don't like nice guys. Therefore, you are the man.

The progress technology has made in the recent years is amazing, the distance from this, to the current Imac is astounding! Back then, the idea of a 27inch HD monitor was science fiction!
