Can Castration Have a Detrimental Effect to Dog Behaviour?

For many years castration has been advocated as a solution too many behavioural problems and indeed it can be advantageous to certain behavioural traits like aggression as it removes the hormone testosterone. When testosterone is removed, the levels of aggression can be reduced due to the subsequent drop in the dog's confidence levels. More information: click here.
